I have spent more than two decades navigating high-stakes decisions in fast-moving operations environments. Across fintech, digital commerce, and insurance, one truth has stayed constant: performance without purpose is not sustainable.
My leadership journey spans Fortune 100 companies, each one deepening my understanding of what it truly means to lead with intention. But the most important leadership I have ever done has not happened in a boardroom.
Chapter 1
The Mom.
The Nana.
The Whole Person.
As a wife, a mom of five, and a nana of six, I have learned that the same courage it takes to lead a team through uncertainty is the same courage it takes to show up fully for the people you love.
That truth is what led me to found Kairos Culture Coaching and Consulting, where I work with leaders who are ready to stop performing leadership and start living it from the inside out.
I am also the author of two empowerment journals, Woman Take Your Power and Girl You Got This, practical guides for lasting growth and self-awareness.
Chapter 2
The Decision. The Guilt. The Clarity.
After 25 years in corporate leadership, my role ended. My team was laid off. Time for new blood. Time for me to move forward. I stepped into building Kairos full-time.
A few years later, I went back to corporate in a senior leadership role while continuing to run Kairos. And the guilt was immediate. Had I failed as an entrepreneur? Was I abandoning my clients?
But here is what I know now. Those questions were not about the decision. They were about my fear of judgment. When I sat with it, I saw the truth.
